Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You†to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
"Stairway to the Garden"

... Ascending up to the top of Mt LeConte, the trail is known as Fairies' Garden, the morning mists of fog settle onto the rustic cabins as the sunlight beams through the heavy fog in the forest. A beautiful rocky path leads up to the lodge at Mont LeConte, past the Alum Bluff Cave and winds it's way upward to the top of the mountain in the Smokies. At the top of the mountain, there are primitive wood cabins that can be rented for the night by hikers. The trail up to the summit is in Tennessee, near the border of North Carolina, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This gorgeous image of the stairway path was captured in late Spring, on the cusp of Summer when the temps are still cool and the rains moisten the forest paths almost every day...
